Imagine going to your eye doctor and having him put those magical and disturbing pupil-expanding drops in your eye; immediately after that you are left on your own to go back and get used to the outside world once again. Things don't look the same anymore. Everything now is "more" like it, showing and revealing to your wrongly enhanced sight exploded colours, less defined shapes and unfocused outlines.
