Carl Tsosie, 83, Robert and John Nez's elder brother. He was a sergeant in the 359 Infantry division. He lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico. For him the war did not last very long. After the landing at Omaha Beach on D-Day, he was wounded in both knees at Saint-L™, after three weeks of combat. He had to be sent back home. But those days have impressed him deeply. When he tells about the war, he cries. Because since then, he had never talked about it, and had kept inside himself this painful memory of those young soldiers who landed and died for freedom on the shores of Normandy.
