Dr. Deva gives medicine to Pushpa, a former prostitute affected by AIDS and now living in the Kathmandu Hospice. Every year thousands of women and children fall victim to sex trafficking from Nepal to India. Many young girls remain prisoners in Indian brothels until they become affected by AIDS, after which they are left to fend for themselves. About half of these women suffer from sexually transmitted diseases and are subject to forms of torture and corporal punishment. Kathmandu, Nepal.
