The Astronaut geoglyph, 32 metres tall, is one of the few to have been drawn on a hill. It is a geoglyph from the Paracas era, related to the depictions of mythical heroes, gods and to ancestor worship. This vertical creation clearly appeared much earlier than the horizontal geoglyphs. Probably the technique was perfected by the Nazca people. Jumana Pampa, Nazca, Peru.
