The Condor, one of the most famous geoglyphs on the site, measures about 136 metres. In the Nazca culture the condor was considered to be a sacred animal. Victims who were sacrificed during the rituals and ceremonies were fed to the condor. This bird was important for cycle weather recognition and is associated with the arrival of the rainy season.
