Crocodile Harry, age 75, born Arvid von Blumenenthal in Latvia, arrived in Australia after the Second World War. Harry now only lives on his savings. In his troglodyte lair, the collection of pictures and crocodile skeletons mix with the widest range of objects, with a predilection for women's underwear. The guides and tourists are warned: as soon as there are a few people on the balcony, look out for the man of the house. Harry has supposedly accumulated over 4,500 so far, including Tina Turner’s, bequeathed by the star after the filming of Mad Max.
