2008-03-12 Lodz, Poland. Manufaktura used to be one of the largest textile factories in Poland. After the end of communism all these factories went bankrupt and were left crumbling down. Now this factory has been renovated and turned into a commercial and cultural centre of Lodz. It contains 360 stores, cinemas, 2 museums, a hotel and a new sqare for a city that never had a central square.
